VSR ANNOUNCES DRIVERS FOR ITALIAN SPRINT AND ENDURANCE PRESS RELEASE

Three car attack for Italian Sprint and Endurance campaign

Zanon and Tribaudini to compete in Sprint Cup

VSR will enter three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2 cars in the 2024 Italian GT Sprint and Endurance Championships as well as one Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 2 in the Sprint Cup.

The Sprint Championship, which gets underway at the beginning of May, will see Italian duo Riccardo Cazzaniga and Alberto Di Folco pair up in the 19 Pro car. The 63 car will race in Pro-Am in the hands of Baptiste Moulin and GT3 debutant Alessandro Fabi. A second Pro entry, number 66, will be driven my Mattia Michelotto and Gilles Stadsbader, the latter steps up to GT3 after taking the Sprint Cup Pro-Am title in 2023. Behind the wheel of the team’s Super Trofeo will be Stephane Tribaudini and Ignazio Zanon, racing in Pro-Am.   

For the Endurance rounds the 2022 Champion Edoardo Liberati will join Cazzaniga and Di Folco in the 19 car. The 63 car will remain in Pro-Am and Moulin will be share with Jacopo Guidetti and Stephane Tribaudini. Fabi moves to the 66 car for the Endurance races and will team-up with Marcus Paverud and GT3 debutant Alberto Clementi Pisani in Pro-Am.

We have a good mix of experienced drivers and youngsters just starting out on their GT3 journeys and we’re all looking forward to bringing some more strong results for Lamborghini this year.
